Principal Consultant – Brendan Murphy
Founder member and Principal Consultant of Crossmore Consulting, Brendan Murphy FMS, FIIE, BA, MSc has over 40 years’ experience in the areas of Change Management, Records Management and Continuous Improvement in both the private and public sectors in Ireland and the UK. Having successfully completed a Masters in Records Management at the University of Northumbria in 2004 he became a leading advisor in Records Management within the Health Service Executive in Ireland. He has led out regionally and nationally on many projects including Systems and Records Audits, the development of a Records Management Strategy and a Records Retention Schedule, the production of a new Code of Practice for Healthcare Records and he played a key role in assisting the tendering process for an Electronic Document Records Management System.
Brendan is a also a founder member of the Information and Records Management Society Ireland Group and its current Project Liaison Officer which keeps him up to date with developments and new initiatives in the industry. As a published author on Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving and Records Management issues, he has also presented at international conferences in Dublin, Belfast, Rome and Amsterdam in recent years.
Since setting up his own company, Brendan has brought his expertise to bear in meeting the needs of a wide range of public and private clients. With his background in Industrial Engineering and Lean Systems, Brendan can complement his Records Management activity with a process and continuous improvement focus, facilitating a more comprehensive approach to projects.
